High School & College food stands, Carnivals, Fairs, Charity Events, Food Trucks  that serve food & beverage will need a permit and will be inspected by the Health Department before and during the event. If you don't pass, you do not open or if you are open and don't pass..... they will close you down!  Statistics can be found that will show you the percentage of people who have taken ill from  special event food stands that are run by volunteers. Volunteers are not doing it on purpose, but they know very little about safe food practices for volumes of people. AHS will inspect these locations and assist you with these critical areas for your success.
